Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 2 tablespoons butter or olive oil
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 1/2 cup celery, diced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme, dried
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 cups beef stock
- 4 cups cooked rice, mashed potatoes, or noodles
How To Make spicy ground beef and gravy

Step 1In a large skillet, brown beef until no longer pink. Do not drain.

Step 2To the cooked meat in the skillet, add butter or oil , garlic, seasonings, and diced vegetables. Cook until veggies are tender.

Step 3Once veggies are cooked, add flour to the skillet and blend as best you can, cooking and stirring for about a minute. Pour in beef stock, stirring until blended with the flour. Simmer on low until thickened (about 30 minutes)
