I like to serve the Smokey Jack Burgers open faced with cheddar cheese and bacon, instead of the usual soft bun, try a grilled English muffin half.

jack daniel's tennessee whiskey
3 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
2 tsp
garlic salt
2 tsp
liquid smoke flavoring
1 1/2 lb
ground sirloin
6 slice
cheddar cheese
strips cooked bacon
english muffins

How to Make Smokey Jack Burgers


  • 1Combine the Jack Daniel's, Worcestershire, garlic salt, and liquid smoke in a small bowl.
  • 2Add 3 tablespoons of the sauce to the ground sirloin in a large mixing bowl. Blend Well with your hands and form into 6 patties.
  • 3Sear the patties about 5 minutes per side in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Baste both sides with the remaining sauce and grill until the burgers are cooked to your liking.
  • 4During the last minutes of cooking, top with cheese and bacon, and lightly toast the English muffins over medium heat.
