Smokey Jack Burgers

I like to serve the Smokey Jack Burgers open faced with cheddar cheese and bacon, instead of the usual soft bun, try a grilled English muffin half.

3 Tbsp
jack daniel's tennessee whiskey
3 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
2 tsp
garlic salt
2 tsp
liquid smoke flavoring
1 1/2 lb
ground sirloin
6 slice
cheddar cheese
strips cooked bacon
english muffins


1Combine the Jack Daniel's, Worcestershire, garlic salt, and liquid smoke in a small bowl.
2Add 3 tablespoons of the sauce to the ground sirloin in a large mixing bowl. Blend Well with your hands and form into 6 patties.
3Sear the patties about 5 minutes per side in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Baste both sides with the remaining sauce and grill until the burgers are cooked to your liking.
4During the last minutes of cooking, top with cheese and bacon, and lightly toast the English muffins over medium heat.
