We love to smoke things and when the big stuff is done and there's still pellets left in the smoker we turn up the heat and throw on some Italian sausages. So good! We use an electric smoker.

- - raw italian sausage from your grocer, we like the hot kind
How To Make smoked italian sausage

Step 1Set your smoker at 275 degrees.

Step 2Add wood chips or pellets of choice. I use a mix of hickory and cherry.

Step 3Place the sausages directly on the grate. Smoke for approximately 1 1/2 hours or until internal temp is 165.
