Slow Cooker Crock Pot


4 1bs. beef short ribs, trimmed of fat
1 large jalapeno, diced (leave seeds in for heat)
5 large leeks, cut into 2-inch pieces
1 teaspoon dried thyme
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 envelope brown gravy mix
1 cup broth or water

How to Make Slow Cooker Spicy Beef and Leeks


  • 1Brown ribs in skillet over medium high heat. Remove and place in slow cooker.
    Add hot pepper, leeks, thyme, and garlic.
  • 2Drain fat from skillet and add stock or water and gravy mix, stirring well. Pour over ribs.
  • 3Cook on low 8 hours or until ribs are tender.
