Here's to you Fireman Bob. I took some of your favorites and came up with this main dish. Hope you like it. There is enough for leftovers!!

Ingredients

  • - 4 1bs. beef short ribs, trimmed of fat
  • - 1 large jalapeno, diced (leave seeds in for heat)
  • - 5 large leeks, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • - 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • - 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • - 1 envelope brown gravy mix
  • - 1 cup broth or water

How To Make slow cooker spicy beef and leeks

  • Step 1
    Brown ribs in skillet over medium high heat. Remove and place in slow cooker. Add hot pepper, leeks, thyme, and garlic.
  • Step 2
    Drain fat from skillet and add stock or water and gravy mix, stirring well. Pour over ribs.
  • Step 3
    Cook on low 8 hours or until ribs are tender.
