Slow Cooker Crock Pot

  • 2 lb
    lean beef roast
  • 1 large
    onion, chopped
  • 4 clove
  • 2 Tbsp
    apple cider vinegar
  • 16 oz
    tomato sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp
    lime juice

How to Make Slow Cooker Shredded Beef


  1. Place all ingredients into a slow cooker and cook on low for 6 hours.
  2. Remove meat from slow cooker and shred. Return shredded beef to crock pot and cook 30 additional minutes.
  3. To freeze: Place all ingredients into a gallon-sized freezer bag and freeze. Thaw overnight in refrigerator, dump into crock pot, and cook on low for 6 hours. Continue with step 2.
