Ingredients
- 2 pounds lean beef roast
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 16 ounces tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
How To Make slow cooker shredded beef

Step 1Place all ingredients into a slow cooker and cook on low for 6 hours.

Step 2Remove meat from slow cooker and shred. Return shredded beef to crock pot and cook 30 additional minutes.

Step 3To freeze: Place all ingredients into a gallon-sized freezer bag and freeze. Thaw overnight in refrigerator, dump into crock pot, and cook on low for 6 hours. Continue with step 2.
