slow cooker juicy beef roast

About 3 months ago I was looking for a different way to cook a roast in my crockpot and came across this recipe. We really love it!!!(Especially my husband) I have shared this recipe with some of my friends and they also really loved it. It really comes out moist and very juicy and the sauce drizzled over it makes it delicious!!!

Ingredients

  • - 4 - 5 pound chuck roast
  • - 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • - 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • - 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • - 1 teaspoon liquid smoke
  • - 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • - 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • - 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • - 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • - 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • - 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • - 1 teaspoon hot sauce(optional)

How To Make slow cooker juicy beef roast

  • Step 1
    Set the roast in the crockpot
  • Step 2
    Put all the sauce ingredients in a bowl and whisk together until sauce is well blended and smooth. Pour over roast. Cook on high for 4 - 5 hours or low for 7 - 8 hours.
  • Step 3
    Serve as main dish with sauce drizzled over meat.
