I had no ingredients to make bbq sauce, so i used chili sauce and it came out so good.

boneless pork shoulder roast
1 large
onion, sliced into rings
2 Tbsp
tabasco sauce
1 c
chili sauce, sold near the ketchup in the coniments aisle
2 c
root beer soda
1/2 tsp
vanilla

hamburger or kaiser rolls

How to Make Slow-cooked chili sauce pulled pork

Step-by-Step

  • 1Place meat in a 4-quart slow-cooker. Add onions. Top w/ tabasco sauce, chili sauce, rootbeer and vanilla. Stir to mix.
  • 2Cover, cook on low for 8 hrs, or until meat shreds easily. Shred meat and serve meat w/ sauce on the rolls.
