skillet meatloaf steaks with tomato gravy
This recipe came out of necessity! I had intended on making a slow cooked meatloaf dinner and plans changed. Skillet meatloaf worked great! In under 30 minutes I had a yummy dinner - and now I'm sharing it with you. For all those busy folks out there....this one is for you - Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
- 1/4 small onion, diced
- 1/2 medium bell pepper, diced
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon mccormicks grill mates montreal steak seasoning
- FOR TOMATO GRAVY:
- 1 can campbell's tomato soup
- 1/2 - of the tomato soup can water
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- - salt and pepper to taste
How To Make skillet meatloaf steaks with tomato gravy

Step 1In a microwave safe bowl heat onions, and bell peppers for 1 minute to soften. Set aside.

Step 2In a mixing bowl add ground beef, egg, oats, the cooked peppers and onions.

Step 3Add worcestershire sauce and montreal steak seasoning.

Step 4Mix well to combine.

Step 5Separate into 4 sections.

Step 6Form into 4 patties. I have one of those nifty burger making gadgets, but hands work just as well.

Step 7Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a medium skillet on medium heat. Add patties and cook until browned - about 5 minutes.

Step 8Turn and cook until browned another 5 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Step 9Drain oil from skillet. Add tomato soup, brown sugar, and worcestershire sauce for gravy. Stir to combine. Add patties to gravy and turn to coat. Cook on medium low for 10 minutes.
