saucy beef and vegetable stir-fry
I love Asian food and this is one of my favorites. I fix this with chow mein noodles but you can fix it with rice. Pick up a pair of chopsticks and practice your technique on this dish.

Ingredients
- 1 - beef flank steak (1 pound), cut into 1/4" strips
- 1 teaspoon minced fresh gingerroot
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 cups broccoli flowerets
- 1 cup julienne-cut zucchini
- 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1/2 cup red or green bell pepper chunks
- 1 jar (12-ozs) heinz homestyle brown with onions gravy
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- - dash pepper
- - chow mein noodles or hot cooked rice

Step 1In preheated large skillet or wok, stir-fry steak and gingerroot in oil; remove.

Step 2Stir-fry mushrooms and red pepper 2 to 3 minutes or until tender-crisp, adding more oil if necessary.

Step 3Stir in gravy, soy sauce and pepper. Return steak to skillet; heat 1 to 2 minutes or until hot. Serve with chow mein noodles. Garnish with sesame seeds, if desired.
