salisbury steak and onion gravy
Another recipe from Best Recipes from the backs of Boxes, Bottles, Cans and Jars. I used to make this one often when my kids were young. It is very tasty.

Ingredients
- 10 1/2 ounces campbells condensed onion soup (i have often substituted liptons dry onion soup)
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs
- 1 - slightly beaten egg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- - dash of pepper
- tablespoon flour
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard
How To Make salisbury steak and onion gravy

Step 1In a bowl, combine 1/3 cup soup with beef, breadcrumbs, egg, salt and pepper.

Step 2Shape into 6 oval patties. In skillet, brown patties; pour off fat.

Step 3Gradually blend remaining ingredients, stir to loosen browned bits.

Step 4Cover and cook over low heat 20 minutes or until done, stirring occasionally.
