I added the reduction sauce because I love the flavor and it brings an amazing punch to what usually is just boring meatballs.

1 lb
ground beef
1 box
beef flavored rice a roni
1 large
egg
4 Tbsp
butter
2 c
beef broth
1 c
dry red wine
3 Tbsp
parsley

How to Make Rice a Roni Meatball with Red Wine Reduction Sauce

Step-by-Step

  • 1Take rice a roni out of box and soak it in hot water for 15 minutes then drain.
  • 2Mix rice, beef, egg, and seasoning packet from rice a roni together. Shape into balls.
  • 3Add butter to frying pan. Brown meatballs. Pour beef broth and wine over top.
  • 4Bring to boil and reduce to simmer and simmer 20 minutes.
  • 5Remove meatballs and serve with sauce garnish with parsley
