pot roast with creamy gravy
Another oldie but goodie. I've seen some similar ones here but not exactly like it. I specified using a crock pot but you can also cook it in a dutch oven in the oven. Hubby always insists on mashed potatoes and English peas with this and pours the gravy over everything.

Ingredients
- 3 or 4 pounds beef roast, whatever you like, i use what's on sale
- 1 package (1 envelope) onion soup mix
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can french onion soup
- - pepper to taste, no salt!!!!
How To Make pot roast with creamy gravy

Step 1Place the roast in the crock pot.

Step 2Mix the rest of the ingredients and pour over the roast. Don't add salt as the soups are all salty.

Step 3Cook on high one hour then reduce to low for 8 hours.

Step 4It should be fork tender with a nice creamy gravy to ladle over it when served.
