Ingredients

2 lb
beef roast
3 large
carrots
2 medium
russet potatoes
1 tsp
garlic powder
1 tsp
oregano, dried
1 Tbsp
basil
3 c
beef broth

How to Make Pot Roast

Step-by-Step

  • 1Sprinkle roast evenly with garlic powder. Place in a slow cooker. Add 2 cups of broth. Cook on high for 3 1/2 hours.
  • 2Peel and cube potatoes. Peel and slice carrots. Add potatoes and carrots to slow cooker.
  • 3Add oregano, basil and remaining broth. Cook on high for an additional hour or until vegetables are tender and roast is done.
