Different people use different breads for this recipe - there are rolls made specifically for Pistellettes but other oval medium hard rolls would work

Ingredients

  • 1 package pistellette bread/rolls (12)
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound velveeta cheese
  • 10 ounces box chopped broccoli
  • 1 jar mushrooms

How To Make pistellettes

  • Step 1
    cut the end off of pistellette roll, cut circle out of inside of roll length-ways and remove.
  • Step 2
    Brown and season ground meat to taste. Drain
  • Step 3
    Add Velveeta cheese cut in 1 inch squares. Add diced broccoli and mushroom in skillet with meat on low until cheese melts. allow to cool
  • Step 4
    Stuff inside of rolls with meat mixture. Baste outer side of bread with melted butter and garlic powder. Bake stuffed rolls until brown.
