Different people use different breads for this recipe - there are rolls made specifically for Pistellettes but other oval medium hard rolls would work

Ingredients

1 pkg
pistellette bread/rolls (12)
1 lb
ground beef
1 lb
velveeta cheese
10 oz
box chopped broccoli
1 jar(s)
mushrooms

How to Make Pistellettes

Step-by-Step

  • 1cut the end off of pistellette roll, cut circle out of inside of roll length-ways and remove.
  • 2Brown and season ground meat to taste. Drain
  • 3Add Velveeta cheese cut in 1 inch squares. Add diced broccoli and mushroom in skillet with meat on low until cheese melts. allow to cool
  • 4Stuff inside of rolls with meat mixture. Baste outer side of bread with melted butter and garlic powder. Bake stuffed rolls until brown.
