I am all about one dish meals. The simpler the better :-) I am glad I came across this recipe in my Mom's recipe box.

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons bacon drippings or cooking oil
- 1 - onion-chopped
- 1 - bell pepper-chopped
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 can tomato sauce-large
- 1 can tomato soup
- 12 ounces can corn--drained (not drained)
- 1 can english peas-small (not drained)
- 1 cup uncooked shell pasta
- 1 cup uncooked elbow macaroni
- 1 can ripe pitted olives
- 1 can mushrooms-large (not drained)
- 1 - bay leaf
- 1 pinch oregano, dried
- - salt to taste
- 1-2 cup shredded cheese-cheddar blend
- **PREHEAT OVEN 350 DEGREES**
How To Make one dish meal (beef)

Step 1Cook the pasta according to package directions. Sauté onion and pepper in bacon drippings. Add beef and cook until done. Drain olives and add them along with other ingredients (except cheese and pasta). Mixing well Add the cooked pasta and blend well.

Step 2Place into two large greased casserole dishes. Cover with foil and bake at 350* for 30-45 minutes. Top with cheese just before removing from oven and allow cheese to melt.
