Not Very Sloppy Sloppy Joes

Carol Zahn

I was hungry for Sloppy Joes and didn't have any hamburger buns but I had Grand's Biscuits. I really believe you can do anything if you have biscuits in the refrigerator. Well if I don't say so myself these turned out pretty yummy.

How to Make Not Very Sloppy Sloppy Joes

  1. Line a large baking sheet with non stick aluminum foil and pre heat the oven to 350. I don't like cleaning cookie sheets. :)
  2. Brown and crumble the hamburger until it is fully cooked.
  3. Make your favorite sloppy joe recipe or open a can of Manwhich. Sometimes that is not so bad for quick kids lunch. Cook mixture until hot and flavors have blended.
  4. Now for the fun part! Pull the biscuits and flatten until they are about 4-5 inches across. Put about 2 heaping tablespoons of filling in the middle and top with shredded cheese. I used sharp cheddar. Now fold one side over to meet the other side and press them together. Use a fork to crimp the edges and to make sure they will be closed. Bake 15-20 at 350 until golden brown.
