I was hungry for Sloppy Joes and didn't have any hamburger buns but I had Grand's Biscuits. I really believe you can do anything if you have biscuits in the refrigerator. Well if I don't say so myself these turned out pretty yummy.

yield 4-8 serving(s)

Ingredients

  • 1 pound 93% ground beef
  • 1 1/4 cups cheese, shredded
  • 1 can pillsbury grands
  • - your favorite sloppy joe recpie

How To Make not very sloppy sloppy joes

  • Step 1
Line a large baking sheet with non stick aluminum foil and pre heat the oven to 350. I don't like cleaning cookie sheets. :)
  • Step 2
Brown and crumble the hamburger until it is fully cooked.
  • Step 3
Make your favorite sloppy joe recipe or open a can of Manwhich. Sometimes that is not so bad for quick kids lunch. Cook mixture until hot and flavors have blended.
  • Step 4
Now for the fun part! Pull the biscuits and flatten until they are about 4-5 inches across. Put about 2 heaping tablespoons of filling in the middle and top with shredded cheese. I used sharp cheddar. Now fold one side over to meet the other side and press them together. Use a fork to crimp the edges and to make sure they will be closed. Bake 15-20 at 350 until golden brown.
