  • 1/2 bag(s)
    doritos nacho cheese chips crushed
  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning
  • 1 medium
    red onion diced
  • 1 jar(s)
    salsa your favorite
  • 1 small
    can mild green chilies diced
  • 2 c
    prepared pico de gala or chopped tomatoes
  • 1/2 c
    fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1/2 lb
    bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 3 c
    shredded mexican blend cheese
  • ·
    sour cream for serving

How to Make My 9 Layer Taco Casserole--- So Good


  1. Preheat oven 350 degrees. Spray a 9 X 13 Pan.
  2. Place crushed Doritos in bottom of pan
  3. Brown ground beef in skillet on stove
  4. Add taco seasoning package and cook until done.
  5. Layer meat over Doritos
  6. Cover meat with chopped red onion
  7. Pour jar of salsa over onions
  8. Drain green chilies and spoon evenly over salsa
  9. Add a layer of pico de gala or chopped tomatoes
  10. Sprinkle Cilantro over top of pico.
  11. Top with crumbled bacon
  12. Top with cheese
  13. Bake in oven for 25 to 30 minutes
