mr. ed's chili
This recipe came from my husband's family. I added an extra pound of ground beef to the recipe, and we just love it! It makes a big pot of chili! This recipe also works well in the crock pot. Just adjust your cooking time.

Ingredients
- 3 pounds ground beef, browned and drained
- 3 cans 15 oz size, tomato sauce
- 2 cans 28 oz size, diced tomatoes, drained
- 3 cans pinto beans, drained
- 1 large sweet onion, chopped
- 6 tablespoons (heaping) chili powder
- - salt and pepper, to taste
How To Make mr. ed's chili

Step 1Mix above ingredients in a large pot.

Step 2Bring to low boil, reduce to a slow simmer.

Step 3Cover, and simmer, stirring occasionally for approximately 3 hours. Making sure the onion is nice and soft.

Step 4Serve with oyster crackers and shredded cheddar cheese. (shred your own cheese!)
