Mr. Ed's Chili
This recipe also works well in the crock pot. Just adjust your cooking time.
3 lbground beef, browned and drained
3 can(s)15 oz size, tomato sauce
2 can(s)28 oz size, diced tomatoes, drained
3 can(s)pinto beans, drained
1 largesweet onion, chopped
6 Tbsp(heaping) chili powder
·salt and pepper, to taste
How to Make Mr. Ed's Chili
- Mix above ingredients in a large pot.
- Bring to low boil, reduce to a slow simmer.
- Cover, and simmer, stirring occasionally for approximately 3 hours. Making sure the onion is nice and soft.
- Serve with oyster crackers and shredded cheddar cheese.
(shred your own cheese!)
