onons chopped
1 large
green bell pepper chopped
1 or more lb
groud beef
2 c
white rice uncooked
4 can(s)
8oz tomato sauce
3 1/2 c
hot water
salt & pepper
1 c
velveeta cheese

How to Make Mom's Spanish Rice


  • 1Brown ground beef drain add onion and green bellpepper and cook a little not quite soft
  • 2Add rice cook a little stirring till it gets a tiny bit brown..
  • 3Add tomato sauce, water & salt & pepper. Mix well. Bring to a quice boil. Cover tightlyand simmer 25 min. Stiring once in a while.
  • 4Add 1 cup of velveeta cheese before serving stiring to melt...... Enoy!!!!!
