Ingredients

  • 2 medium
    onons chopped
  • 1 large
    green bell pepper chopped
  • 1 or more lb
    groud beef
  • 2 c
    white rice uncooked
  • 4 can(s)
    8oz tomato sauce
  • 3 1/2 c
    hot water
  • ·
    salt & pepper
  • 1 c
    velveeta cheese

How to Make Mom's Spanish Rice

Step-by-Step

  1. Brown ground beef drain add onion and green bellpepper and cook a little not quite soft
  2. Add rice cook a little stirring till it gets a tiny bit brown..
  3. Add tomato sauce, water & salt & pepper. Mix well. Bring to a quice boil. Cover tightlyand simmer 25 min. Stiring once in a while.
  4. Add 1 cup of velveeta cheese before serving stiring to melt...... Enoy!!!!!
