My family doesn't like a strong tomato flavor in their meat loaf or green peppers so I came up with this recipe many years ago and they always rave about it! Its great with brown gravy or a little A-1 Steak sauce.

Ingredients

lean ground beef
1 pkg
onion soup mix
1 small
onion, grated

eggs, lightly beaten
1/4 c
milk
2 c
saltine crackers, finely crushed
1 Tbsp
steak sauce
1/4 tsp
pepper

How to Make Mom's Meat Loaf

Step-by-Step

  • 1Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, mix well until thoroughly blended. Press into a large loaf pan and bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
