I know you'll call me crazy, but you'd never know it was cooked in a microwave unless someone told you! Try it, you'll like it...

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 can tomato sauce, 8 oz
  • 1 - egg, beaten
  • 1 cup quick cooking oats or bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon minced onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

How To Make microwave meatloaf

  • Step 1
    Combine all ingredients in a bowl & mix well. Using a microwave safe round casserole dish, shape mixture into a ring (hole in the center). Make sure meat is pretty even, wide as it is high (for even cooking)
  • Step 2
    Cover with paper towels to prevent splattering. Cook for 10 - 15 minutes, depending on microwave wattage, to an interernal temp of 165 F. Turn halfway through if you do not have a turntable microwave.
