Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 26 ounces spaghetti sauce (i usually use ragu or hunts)
- 1/2 cup italian bread crumbs
- 1 - egg
- - soft sub bread
- - mozzarella cheese
- - garlic powder
How To Make meatball sub sandwiches

Step 1Mix ground beef, bread crumbs, and egg in a large bowl. Form into 1 inch balls. (Makes approximately 20-24 meatballs)

Step 2While forming the meatballs, pour the spaghetti sauce in a 3qt sauce pan. Heat until bubbly.

Step 3Add meatballs to sauce, cover and simmer on low-med heat for 20 mins. or until done.

Step 4Add butter to the inside of the sub bread, sprinkle with garlic powder (to taste), and add a small amount of mozzarella. Put in broiler until lightly toasted.

Step 5Add meatballs to bread, spinkle a little more mozzarella, and enjoy! Serve with chips, side salad, veggies, tots...whatever your family likes.
