I have made this recipe for the past 45 years and it's always a hit. Moist with a great taste.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground sirloin
  • 1 tablespoon instant onion
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 3/4 cup finely crushed saltine crackers
  • 1 - egg - beaten
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • TOPPING
  • 3 tablespoons dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard

How To Make meat loaf enhanced with barbeque topping

  • Step 1
    Spoon into lightly greased loaf pan 8 1/2" x 4 1/2". Press gently. Spread topping evenly over meat loaf. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes. Check with meat thermometer. Should reach 165-170degrees
