I have made this recipe for the past 45 years and it's always a hit. Moist with a great taste.

  • 1 lb
    ground sirloin
  • 1 Tbsp
    instant onion
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 3/4 c
    finely crushed saltine crackers
  • 1
    egg - beaten
  • 3/4 c
    milk
  • 1/4 c
    ketchup
  • TOPPING

  • 3 Tbsp
    dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 c
    ketchup
  • 1/2 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1 tsp
    dry mustard

How to Make Meat Loaf enhanced with barbeque topping

Step-by-Step

  1. Spoon into lightly greased loaf pan 8 1/2" x 4 1/2". Press gently. Spread topping evenly over meat loaf.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes. Check with meat thermometer. Should reach 165-170degrees
