meat and tater stew
This is my Mom's receipe. My personal Favorite. This dish may be slowly simmered in a slow cooker or very quickly prepared in a pressure cooker. This is good served over rice or bread; along with a green salad. I also throw carrots into the ingredients. Is a very quick and easy complete meal.

Ingredients
- 1 - round steak
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/2 cup roux
- - water
- 1 - onion
- 1 - bell pepper
- - salt and pepper
- - worchestershire sauce
How To Make meat and tater stew

Step 1Cut steak into strips or cubes. Heat a small amount of fat in a deep skillet. Brown meat; drain fat thoroughly.

Step 2Add potatoes, roux and water to cover ingredients. (More roux may be used if needed).

Step 3Add onions and bell pepper (chopped). Season to taste with pepper (red/black), salt and worchestershire sauce. Cover and simmer until tender.
