I borrowed a Monte Cristo Fold Over recipe posted by Penny R, and changed the stuffing to accommodate my left oner brisket

Ingredients For left-over brisket fold overs

  • 2 can
    pillsbury grands biscuits-8 to the can
  • 1 md
    onion diced or slivered
  • 1 tsp
    chili powder
  • 1 tsp
    minced garlic
  • 1-2 lb
    left over brisket shredded or chipped
  • 2 Tbsp
    balsamic vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 c
    favorite barbecue sauce (i used woodie's
  • EGG COATING
  • 1 lg
    egg
  • 1 Tbsp
    milk or half and half
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp
    nutmeg

How To Make left-over brisket fold overs

    In a medium skillet, saute the onions until translucent.
  • 2
    Add the garlic, chili powder, barbeque sauce,balsamic vinegar, worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.

    Add the brisket and cook on medium heat for about 10 minutes.

    Let cool while you roll out the biscuit dough into 5-6 inch circles and prepare the egg coating.

    Spoon meat mixture onto dough circles and fold dough over and seal with fork tines around the edge. Place on foil lined cookie sheet and baste with the egg mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
