Ingredients

  • 3 cups green,red,yellow peppers
  • 1 cup yellow onion
  • 1 cup red onion
  • 1 1/2 bags mozzarella cheese
  • 3 tubes ricotta cheese
  • 2 pounds hamburger
  • 1 1/2 boxes lasagna noodles
  • 6 cans 8 ounces of tomato sauce
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons oregano
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons onion powder

How To Make lasagna

  • Step 1
    get a big pot and put about 3 tablespoons of oil,turn stove to med-low heat.
  • Step 2
    take your green peppers and onion and dice them up. when your oil is hot, throw all the peppers and onions in the pot, turn occasionally tell tender and were there isn't a lot of oils, if there is drain your peppers and onions.put them back in the pot.
  • Step 3
    use tomato sauce and tomato paste. combine with peppers and onions turn heat to a little over low but not medium. then added in your seasonings stir in really good. cook about 10- 15 minutes.
  • Step 4
    cook hamburger, tell its done,drain set aside.
  • Step 5
    take another pot and put water salt and a little oil, to keep from sticking, once it starts boiling put about 4-5 lasagna noodles in at a time, cook until slightly done, so they don't rip. continue until all noodles are used.
  • Step 6
    get your baking pan. put just enough sauce on he bottom of the pan. once your noodles are done, place on bottom of pan, then take your ricotta cheese and put it all over the noodles,until there is enough on them. add your sauce,hamburger,mozzarella cheese. repeat steps until you have 3-5 layers. add a little Italian seasoning on top

    this makes 2 9x13 inch baking pans...serves about 15-20 depending on slices...we have 5 little ones so we get alot out of ours...please enjoy my special recipe...and let me know what you think.
