Andrew Carmellini recipe that am posting for safe keeping. Timing does not include marinating steak nor allowing it to come back to room temperature.

Ingredients
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup coca cola
- 1/4 cup sesame oil
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 4 cloves garlic
- 4 - green onions, minced
- 5 pounds rib eye steak
- 1/2 cup kimchee
How To Make korean steak

Step 1In small bowl, whisk together soy, coke, sesame oil, and hoisin. Add garlic and onion, whisk well.

Step 2Put meat into large deep glass pan or plastic bag, pour marinade over, cover completely. Marinate at least two hours but not longer than 10.

Step 3Remove steaks from marinade and allow to come to room temperature, about 30 minutes. Grill or broil. Internal temp should be 115. Let meat rest 5 minutes. Slice thin. Serve with kimchee and possibly peeled, grated daikon radish.
