This is a very easy dish to take to picnics and cook outs. It is so easy to make and not very expensive. Everyone who has had it tells me they love it and asks for the recipe.

  • 1 lb
    hamburger, browned and drained
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasonings
  • 1 bottle
    french dressing
  • 1 bag(s)
    tortilla chips
  • 3 c
    shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1
    head of lettuce

How to Make Kim's Easy Taco Salad


  1. Cut head of lettuce into bite size pieces.
  2. Pour French dressing into a bowl and mix in taco seasonings.
  3. Open bag of chips and then squish them up into bite size pieces in bag.
  4. Add lettuce, cheese, burger and chips into a large bowl that has a lid.
  5. Pour French dressing mixture over and stir until it is distributed throughout the bowl.
  6. Place lid securely on bowl and shake it up and down.
  7. Make sure the lid is secure and turn bowl upside down while holding the lid in place to be safe. Shake up and down again.
  8. Allow to sit for about 5 - 10 minutes and then stir.
  9. Serve.
