This is my families favorite recipe for hamburger patties fried or grilled.

Ingredients

  • - for every pound of hamburger
  • 1 - slice of white bread crust removed and discarded/ white bread shredded
  • 3 tablespoons fresh milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

How To Make juicy hamburgers

  • Step 1
    Cut the crust from one slice of fresh white bread and discard. Tear the remaining white bread into very small pieces and soak in milk.
  • Step 2
    Break the raw hamburger into a large bowl. Add salt and pepper plus the wet bread. knead the spices and wet bread into the raw hamburger until all evidence of the bread melts into the meat.
  • Step 3
    Put the hamburger mixture in to a container that can be tightly sealed and put in the refrigerator overnight.
  • Step 4
    Shape into hamburger patties and season as desired. Fry or grill until done to your preference. The result is a juicy hamburger you will get loads of compliments on. Enjoy!
