This is my families favorite recipe for hamburger patties fried or grilled.

Ingredients

for every pound of hamburger
1
slice of white bread crust removed and discarded/ white bread shredded
3 Tbsp
fresh milk
1/2 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
pepper

How to Make Juicy Hamburgers

Step-by-Step

  • 1Cut the crust from one slice of fresh white bread and discard. Tear the remaining white bread into very small pieces and soak in milk.
  • 2Break the raw hamburger into a large bowl. Add salt and pepper plus the wet bread. knead the spices and wet bread into the raw hamburger until all evidence of the bread melts into the meat.
  • 3Put the hamburger mixture in to a container that can be tightly sealed and put in the refrigerator overnight.
  • 4Shape into hamburger patties and season as desired. Fry or grill until done to your preference.
    The result is a juicy hamburger you will get loads of compliments on. Enjoy!
