1 lbground chuck
1 lbbulk italian sausage
3/4 citalian bread crumbs
1/2 cchopped onion
2 can(s)tomato sauce(8 oz cans)
2 cshredded mozzarella cheese
How to Make ITALIAN MEATLOAF
- Preheat oven to 350
- Combine ground chuck,Italian sausage,egg,bread crumbs,onions,1/3 cup of tomato sauce,salt,oregano,mushrooms,and pepper.
- Mix well and shape into a flat rectangle about 10 x 12 on waxed paper.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over meat mixture.
Roll up like a jelly roll and press ends to seal.
- Place in loaf pan.
Bake at 350 for 1 hr.
Pour on remaining tomato sauce and bake an additional 15 minutes.
Add more mozzarella cheese, if desired during the last 15 minutes of baking.
