This is the first recipe I ever created.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 2 1/2 cups oatmeal, uncooked
  • 2 (10 oz.) cans condensed tomato soup
  • 2 - eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons oregano
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons parsley flakes
  • 2 teaspoons basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1 tablespoon paprika

How To Make italian meatloaf

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl combine all ingredients except soup. Mix very well.
  • Step 2
    Add soup a little at a time until mixture is moist but not runny.
  • Step 3
    {lace mixture in a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan or 8 x 8 inch baking dish.
  • Step 4
    Cook on 350 degrees for 1 hour or until completely done. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing.
  • Step 5
    If cooking for fewer people you can use 3 small loaf pans. Then you have some to eat and some to freeze for later.
