This is my Grandmother's recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • 1/3 cup grated romano or parmesan cheese
  • 1/2-1 cup fresh bread crumbs
  • 4-5 - fresh springs parsely, chopped
  • 4-5 - fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 2 - large eggs
  • 1-2 - cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

How To Make italian meatballs

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together well.
  • Step 2
    Shape into balls and drop into sauce.
  • Step 3
    You may also bake, in a 350° oven for 12-15 minutes or fry meatballs and then add to sauce.
