Ingredients

  • 2 pounds lean beef round cut into bite size pieces
  • 1 large onion/ sliced thin
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 box beef broth
  • 1 bottle good red wine burgundy or merlot or your choice
  • 1 teaspoon beef seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil to brown beef and onions
  • 10 ounces clean sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 package carrots sliced
  • 1 box frozen tiny onions
  • 1 bag noodles, cooked
  • - corn starch or flour and water mixed well to thicken
  • - salt and pepper to taste

  • Step 1
    Brown beef and add onions sauté in olive oil After seasoning with a good beef seasoning
  • Step 2
    Place beef and onions into crockpot
  • Step 3
    Pour beef stock over meat
  • Step 4
    Add bottle of wine
  • Step 5
    Add garlic Add three Bay Leaves
  • Step 6
    Cover and put on Low for 6-8 hours setting
  • Step 7
    After about five hours add carrots
  • Step 8
    About one hour before serving add mushrooms and pearl onions
  • Step 9
    Thicken sauce Remove all Bay Leaves!!!
  • Step 10
    Add salt and fresh pepper to taste
  • Step 11
    Serve over cooked egg noodles with some good warmed rolls or bread .
