Very easy recipe for busy nights. You can add any vegetable variation, seasonings to your taste or leave just as is and serve with a side salad. I have added garlic, onion and chopped peppers to the ground beef while cooking before.

Ingredients For hot john

  • 1 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 2 can
    cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 1 pkg
    broad "no yolks" pasta
  • 1 can
    sliced mushrooms
  • pepper to taste

How To Make hot john

  • 1
    Cook pasta as per package directions. Drain and return to pot, set aside.

    Meanwhile, brown ground beef, add mushrooms half way through browning. Add seasoning to taste.

    Add soup to ground meat.
  • 4
    Combine meat mixture to drained pasta, mix well. Serve with side salad.
