french fry casserole
This is a good satisfying dish. My kids always liked it. You can make it ahead and place in the refrigerator to put in the oven when you get home from work.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef (i think you could use pork or turkey if you prefer.)
- 1/2 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 medium green pepper, chopped
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- - salt and pepper to taste
- 1 bag frozen mixed vegetables or your choice
- 1 pound frozen french fries
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 can water
- 4 ounces velveeta or american cheese
How To Make french fry casserole

Step 1Brown ground meat in a large frying pan. Drain off any grease if needed.

Step 2Add onions and pepper to meat and continue cooking until translucent. Salt and pepper to taste and add worcestershire sauce.

Step 3Place cooked meat in a large greased casserole.

Step 4Top with vegetables and then french fries.

Step 5Mix soup and water. Stir until smooth. Add cheese and cook on stove top or microwave until cheese is melted and sauce is smooth.

Step 6Pour sauce over casserole. Do not stir.

Step 7Bake casserole, covered, in a 400 degree oven for 15 minutes. Reduce heat and bake another 20 minutes.

Step 8Remove cover and bake another 10 minutes or so until browned and bubbly.
