I found this recipe and changed it just a little bit. It is a recipe for salisbury steak but it tastes more like meatloaf to me. Some of the recipes I read had mushrooms added to the sauce that goes on top. I left them out only because my kids don't like mushrooms. On a side note I don't even like meatloaf but, my kids do. I loved this!

How to Make Easy Salisbury Steak

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix Meat, stove top, onion,1 cup water, egg, and 3 tbsp of barbecue sauce together and form into 8 individual small loaves. Place in 9 x 13 baking dish
  2. Mix sauce and pour over meat. I had a little bit of sauce left over, I just poured over until meat was covered (maybe left out about 1/4 of a cup. You could save and pour over meat before it's done if you like extra sauce on it.
  3. bake uncovered for 50 min to an hour.
