this is quick and easy and makes the meat fork tender. I serve this over mashed potatoes with a salad and its a great comfort food meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds round steak
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • - salt and pepper
  • 3 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1/2 cup dry red wine
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup sliced mushroom
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme minced

How To Make easy pressure cooked swiss steak

  • Step 1
    Cut meat into cubes. Mix flour together with salt and pepper. Dredge the meat in the flour mixture. Add oil to pressure cooker and sear the meat in oil to get a browned exterior.
  • Step 2
    Remove the meat from the pressure cooker and deglaze with the red wine scrapping up bits from bottom of pan and let reduce to half.
  • Step 3
    combine all remaining ingredients and pour in pan. Add meat back to pan and pressure cook for 20 minutes
