Ingredients For different sweet and sour meatballs

  • 1-1/2 lb
    ground beef or ground turkey
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/2 c
    bread crumbs
  • 1 can
    (8 ounces) tomato sauce
  • 1
    onion, chopped
  • 1 can
    (16 ounces) jellied cranberry sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter, melted

How To Make different sweet and sour meatballs

  • 1
    Add egg, salt, pepper, and bread crumbs to ground beef. Mix thoroughly and roll into small balls.

    Saute cut up onion in butter; add cranberry sauce, tomato sauce and cook very slowly for 1/2 hour. Remove from stove and strain through colander and pour into a saucepan over low flame.

    When sauce starts to simmer, add meatballs. Cover and cook slowly for 45 minutes.
