ground beef or ground turkey

egg
1 tsp
salt
1/4 tsp
pepper
1/2 c
bread crumbs
1 can(s)
(8 ounces) tomato sauce

onion, chopped
1 can(s)
(16 ounces) jellied cranberry sauce
1 Tbsp
butter, melted

How to Make Different Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Step-by-Step

  • 1Add egg, salt, pepper, and bread crumbs to ground beef.
    Mix thoroughly and roll into small balls.
  • 2Saute cut up onion in butter; add cranberry sauce, tomato sauce and cook very slowly for 1/2 hour.
    Remove from stove and strain through colander and pour into a saucepan over low flame.
  • 3When sauce starts to simmer, add meatballs.
    Cover and cook slowly for 45 minutes.
