Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili
2 lbground chuck
1 largeonion, diced
1/2 tspblack pepper
1/2 tspgarlic powder
2 1/2 ctomato sauce
1 8 oz. jar(s)salsa*
4 Tbspwilliams chili seasoning, original
1 15 oz. can(s)pinto beans, do not drain
1 15 oz. can(s)red beans, do not drain
1 15 oz. can(s)light red kidney beans, do not drain
How to Make Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili
- In a dutch oven over medium heat, combine the ground beef and the onion and saute until meat is browned and onion is tender. Drain grease, if desired.
- Add the ground black pepper, garlic powder ,tomato sauce, salsa, chili seasoning mix and beans. Mix well, reduce heat to low and simmer for at least an hour.
- *The salsa heat is up to you...mild, medium or hot.
