Don't let the raisins scare you away. They plump up and give the meatballs a moist, sweet taste. These are also great for meatball subs. Pignolis (pine nuts) are a bit expensive. It's okay to leave them out. Meatballs are just as tasty!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup pignolis (pine nuts)
  • 2 teaspoons italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

How To Make grasso family meatballs

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix together using hands until well blended. Form into medium size balls, place on cookie sheet - can be placed close together. Bake 20-25 minutes. Take out of oven and place meatballs in sauce to give sauce a really delicious flavor.
