This is usually served over rice but I through it in a flour tortilla and it was great. My son put it in a bun and loved it.

Ingredients

3 lb
flank steak cut into strips
5 Tbsp
oil
6 clove
garlic minced
1 large
onion diced
1 large
green pepper diced
8 oz
tomato sauce
1 c
white wine
6 oz
sofrito sauce
1 c
goya mojo criollo sauce

How to Make Cuban Ropa Vieja (shredded beef)

Step-by-Step

  • 1Heat 3 tbsp olive oil and brown meat on all sides. Remove from pan.
  • 2Add remaining oil and saute onion, and green pepper. Add garlic and cook until translucent.
  • 3Add remaining ingredients and meat. Simmer 1 1/2 hours or until meat can be shredded with fork.
