I love cooking with the crock pot. This recipe is excellent and so easy. I serve it with stewed or mashed potatoes on the side.

Ingredients

2 lb
round steak
1 can(s)
petite diced tomato, undrained
1 jar(s)
(12 oz.) beef gravy
1 medium
onion, quartered
4 clove
garlic, minced
1 tsp
dried thyme
1 tsp
salt
1/4 tsp
pepper
1/4 c
flour
1-2 large
carrots, diced
4 Tbsp
vegetable oil

How to Make Crock Pot Swiss Steak

Step-by-Step

  • 1Mix together tomatoes, garlic, beef gravy, diced carrot, worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp pepper and thyme, set aside.
  • 2Season each side of steak with salt and pepper to taste. Dredge steaks in flour and brown on both sides in hot oil.
  • 3Add all ingredients to crock pot and cook on high for 3-4 hours.
