This is the recipe that came with my crock-pot and it looks very good.

Slow Cooker Crock Pot


3 Tbsp
all purpose flour
salt to taste
fresh ground black pepper to taste
3 lb
beef chuck, cut into 1-inch cubes
3 large
carrots, peeled and sliced
1 medium
onion, chopped
6 slice
bacon, cooked and cut into 1-inch pieces
10 can(s)
beef broth
2 c
red or burgundy wine
1 Tbsp
tomato paste
2 clove
garlic, minced
3 sprig(s)
fresh thyme, stemmed
bay leaf
1 lb
fresh mushrooms, sliced
2 large
potatoes, cut into 1-inch pieces

How to Make Crock Pot Beef Bourguignon


  • 1Season flour with salt and pepper. Dredge meat cubes in the seasoned flour. Sear in a skillet on the stove top, then place in the crock-pot.
  • 2Add remaining ingredients to the crock-pot, cover, and cook until the meat is tender, 8-10 hours on low or 5-7 hours on high.
