Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 (6 oz.) can(s)
    tomato paste
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    minced onion
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    chili powder
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp
    white pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    cumin
  • 1/4 tsp
    cayenne
  • 12
    taco shells
  • ·
    shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes and shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

How to Make Crispy Beef Tacos

Step-by-Step

  1. Brown the beef in a skillet. Drain grease.
  2. Add tomato paste and onion. Stir well.
  3. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
  4. Let simmer for 15 minutes stirring occasionally.
  5. Spoon into taco shells and top with lettuce, tomato and cheese if desired.
  6. **You can also add sour cream, salsa and/or picante sauce if you like.
