1 2-3 lb
boneless chuck roast
1 can(s)
cooked potatoes
1 Tbsp
chopped chives
1 or 2 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c
cheddar cheese, shredded

How to Make Chuck Roast Au Gratin


  • 1Preheat oven to 350. Place roast in 9x13 pan. Roast at 350 for one hour. Spoon off fat.
  • 2Add about 1/2 - 1 cup water. Cover and cook one hour.
  • 3Combine soup and chives and pour over the meat. Cover and cook for one hour. Add the drained canned potatoes around the meat after 1/2 hour.
  • 4Uncover and Sprinkle with cheese and paprika. Bake until the cheese melts.
