Ingredients

  • 3 lb
    ground beef
  • 2 medium
    onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp
    dried minced garlic
  • 2 can(s)
    8 ozs, each, tomato sauce
  • 2 can(s)
    16 ozs each, petite diced tomatoes
  • 2 can(s)
    16 ozs each, pinto beans
  • 1 can(s)
    10 3/4 ozs tomato puree
  • 2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    black pepper
  • 6 Tbsp
    chili powder
  • 3 tsp
    ground cumin

How to Make Chili

Step-by-Step

  1. Brown meat and onion in skillet.
  2. Place meat and chopped onion in large pot.
  3. Add remaining ingredients
  4. Simmer for an hour, or can simmer all day. The longer the better but will need to check if water should be added periodically.
