Ingredients
- 6 - tenderized round steaks, (each 1/4 to 1/3 pound)
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 3 - eggs
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1/2 cup oil or more if needed
How To Make chicken fried steak

Step 1Beat the steaks to 1/4 inch thick with a meat mallet.

Step 2In a shallow bowl, beat eggs, buttermilk together.

Step 3Place flour in another shallow bowl. Add salt, seasoned salt, paprika, cayenne and pepper. Mix well.

Step 4Dredge each steak in the flour mixture to coat.Shake off excess.

Step 5Then dip each in the egg mixture to coat.

Step 6Next dredge in the flour mixture a second time coating evenly.

Step 7Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 8Fry the steaks 4 minutes on each side or until browned and cooked through. Don't crowd the steaks in the skillet You can add more oil if needed.

Step 9Serve with cream gravy.
