This is my own creation. My husband just loves it. I use Fenugreek spice in this recipe. Fenugreek is a Middle Eastern spice with a unique flavor that is quite delicious. It can be found at specialty spice stores or on Amazon

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 teaspoons fenugreek
  • 1 teaspoon mace
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 can refrigerated large butter biscuits
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 8 large dill pickle slices
  • - blooming onion sauce
  • 1/4 cup each olive oil, chili sauce, and ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup mayo
  • 1/2 teaspoon each cajun seasoning, onion powder, and garlic powder
  • 1/2 - lemon juiced
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

How To Make cheeseburger casserole with blooming onion sauce

  • Step 1
    Brown beef with onions, garlic, fenugreek, mace, salt and pepper. Place in a 8x8 baking pan. Top with cheese then Refrigerated biscuits. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Meanwhile prepare blooming onion sauce by mixing all ingredients together.
  • Step 3
    Top each biscuit with a dill pickle and spoon blooming onion sauce over top and serve
