  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1 medium
  • 1 clove
  • 1 tsp
    kitchen bouquet
  • 1 c
    frozen peas and carrots
  • 3
    red peppers
  • 1 c
    panko bread crumbs

How to Make Carolina Stuffed Peppers


  1. Brown ground beef and onions, drain.
  2. Add worcestershire sauce, salt, garlic, black pepper
  3. Sprinkle flour over the beef mixture and combine.
  4. Add 1/2 cup water and kitchen bouquet. Simmer for 10 minutes
  5. Add peas and carrots and simmer 5 minutes longer.
  6. Place red peppers in baking dish that has been sprayed with Pam.
  7. Fill peppers with beef mixture and sprinkle bread crumbs on top.
  8. Bake on 350* for 45 minutes or until peppers are tender.
