Ingredients
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 - onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 3 - rib eye steaks, 16-ounces each
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cayenne
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground white pepper
How To Make cajun rib-eye steak

Step 1Combine oil, sliced onion, garlic powder and 1 tablespoon black pepper in 13- by 9- by 2-inch glass baking dish.

Step 2Add steaks to marinade, turning to coat.

Step 3Spoon half of sliced onion evenly over steaks. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Step 4Prepare barbecue (medium-high heat) or preheat broiler.

Step 5Remove steaks from marinade.

Step 6Combine paprika, cayenne, salt, white pepper and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper in small bowl.

Step 7Sprinkle each side of each steak with 1 teaspoon spice mixture.

Step 8Grill or broil steaks until cooked through, about 8 minutes per side for medium-rare.

Step 9Cut each steak in half. Divide steaks among plates; serve.
